About the Moot Competition

The National Moot Court Competition 2025 aims to become a premier mooting platform on the Indian circuit, hosted from Kolkata.
This year’s central theme revolves around:

Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 –
Setting aside of a non-arbitration award in a commercial arbitration arising out of an energy dispute.

This niche area offers a fresh and complex dimension to commercial arbitration jurisprudence and is rarely explored in moot courts, providing participants with a truly intellectually rigorous experience.
