About the Position
IISER Kolkata invites applications from dedicated and qualified professionals for the post of Legal Officer on a contractual (co-terminus) basis under project mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized University/Institute. - Experience:
Minimum 5 years of post-LLB experience as either:- A practicing advocate, or
- A legal officer in a recognized legal capacity within academic institutions, universities, government departments, autonomous organizations, PSUs, or similar entities.
- Desirable Skills:
- Solid grasp of Indian laws and legal systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Remuneration
₹80,000 per month (consolidated)
