Established in 2012 under the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, MGCL is a growing hub of legal education inspired by His Grace Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. With a commitment to excellence, the college fosters critical legal scholarship and public policy research.

This international conference focuses on three decades of local self-governance in India since the 73rd and 74th Constitutional Amendments, examining its evolution, legal frameworks, developmental role, and fiscal autonomy. Submission Guidelines
- Abstract: 150–250 words with up to 6 keywords
- Full Paper: 3500–5000 words
- Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, APA 7th Edition
- Plagiarism Limit: Maximum 10% similarity
- Figures/Tables: JPEG format
Publication
- Selected papers will undergo a blind peer-review process and be published in an edited volume with ISBN
- Acceptance for presentation does not guarantee publication
- Declaration form required for consideration for publication
