About the Job
NIPFP is seeking applications for the position of Research Fellow to work on the analysis of direct taxes and climate finance.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of tax dispute orders at the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, High Court, and Supreme Court.
- Assist in research projects related to direct taxation and climate finance.
- Utilize Python and R for data analysis and research tasks.
The appointment will be purely contractual and specific to the project.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in Python and R is mandatory.
- Work Experience: 0-1 year.
Salary
- ₹40,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience).
