About NPS Trust

The National Pension System Trust (NPS Trust) is established by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 to manage the assets and funds of the National Pension System (NPS) and other schemes in the interest of subscribers.

Position: Senior Executive (Legal Matters Related to Operations) (Contractual)

Number of Vacancies: 1
Salary: ₹80,000 per month
Job Duration: 2 years (contractual basis)
Location: New Delhi

Eligibility Criteria

✔ Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a university/college recognized by UGC and the Bar Council of India.

Roles and Responsibilities

Processing of exit and withdrawal claims under NPS.
Legal and policy analysis of the NPS framework.
Regulatory compliance by Central Recordkeeping Agencies and Annuity Service Providers.
Drafting FAQs, process manuals, and subscriber education materials.
Auditing of claims already settled.
Managing account re-activation cases, withdrawal cases, and exceptional cases.
Follow-ups with nodal offices for pending claims.
Handling Ombudsman cases and ensuring closure.
Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Drafting policies, SOPs, and legal documents as required.
Any other legal work assigned by the department.
