About the Role
Goldman Sachs is looking for an experienced attorney (8-11 years of PQE) to join its global legal team and provide counsel on multi-jurisdictional commercial transactions. The role involves:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts across multiple jurisdictions
Advising on financial services technology, services, and intellectual property transactions
Handling software, data licensing, outsourcing, procurement, and hosting agreements
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external foreign counsel
Providing strategic advice on business development initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
Qualified Lawyer (LL.B. degree)
8-11 years of work experience (law firm & in-house financial services experience preferred)
Expertise in financial services technology, software/data licensing, outsourcing & procurement
Strong negotiation & contract management skills
Familiarity with U.S., U.K., E.U., and Asia ex-Japan legal frameworks is an advantage
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills
