A career in law and social justice can often feel challenging for young law graduates and students. While legal education provides theoretical knowledge, understanding real-world mechanisms, key actors, and the lived experiences of marginalized communities remains elusive.
At CSJ, the Young Professionals Programme for Legal Empowerment (YPPLE) has been bridging this gap for over eleven successful years.
About the Programme
YPPLE places young law graduates in the field, where they gain firsthand experience of grassroots realities, local cultures, power structures, and sources of vulnerability. Throughout the journey, participants develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their professional interests, and their role in social justice.
The program allows individuals to explore their true calling—whether in a specific area of law, a work profile, or a social cause they deeply care about.
And if you love to travel, that’s an added bonus!
Compensation & Benefits
- Stipend: INR 33,000 per month
- Accommodation: Option to stay in organizational housing
