Competition Commission of India (CCI) Internship Programme 2025
About the Programme
The Competition Commission of India (CCI), under Section 49 of the Competition Act, 2002, conducts outreach and training programmes to enhance awareness of competition law among students from law, economics, management, and finance disciplines.
The internship programme is designed to provide practical exposure to competition law and its real-world application, benefiting students who aspire to work in regulatory, legal, or corporate sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicable only to Indian nationals
Students with job placement offers are NOT eligible
Eligible Courses:
- Economics & Management:
- MA/MSc (Economics)
- 4th & 5th year of a 5-year Integrated Economics Degree
- MBA
- Law:
- 2nd & 3rd year of 3-year LLB
- 4th & 5th year of 5-year Integrated LLB
- LLM students
- Regulatory Governance:
- MA/MSc (Regulatory Governance)
- Professional Courses:
- Final group of CA, CS, or Cost Accountancy students
Internship Duration & Stipend
Duration: 1 month (extendable to 2-3 months with university recommendation)
Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
How to Apply?
Application Process
- Fill out the prescribed application form (Annexure format required).
- Obtain a recommendation from your academic institution (mandatory).
- Submit a 200-word ‘Statement of Purpose’ detailing:
- Introduction to the topic
- Objectives of the study
- Deadline: Applications must be received by the 1st of the preceding month before the intended internship month.
