Event Timeline
- Registration: 1st March – 31st March
- Team Code Assignment: 1st April
- Clarifications: Queries by 5th April, responses by 10th April
- Workshop on Moot Court Practice: 11th April
- Memorial Submission Deadline: 15th April (11:59 PM)
- Preliminary Rounds: 25th April
- Quarter & Semi-Finals: 26th April

Eligibility
- Open to students enrolled in undergraduate law programs (3-year/5-year) from recognized institutions.
- Teams must consist of 2-3 members (2 speakers mandatory, 1 researcher optional).
- Maximum of 3 teams per institution.
- Teams must maintain anonymity and avoid scouting.
Memorial Guidelines
- Mandatory Sections: Cover Page, Abbreviations, Authorities, Jurisdiction, Facts, Issues, Summary, Arguments, Prayer, and optional Annexures.
- Formatting:
- Font: Times New Roman (12pt for text, 10pt for footnotes)
- Spacing: 1.5 (text), 1.0 (footnotes)
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Maximum Length: 35 pages (excluding annexures)
- Cover Page Colors: Petitioner – Blue, Respondent – Red
- Citations: 21st Edition of the Bluebook.
- Submission: Both Word and PDF formats via a Google form.
- Plagiarism: Maximum 20% allowed.
- Strict Deadline: Late submissions incur a 5-mark penalty per day.
Competition Structure
- Preliminary Rounds (25th April):
- Each team gets 20 minutes to present (1st speaker: max 12 min, 2nd speaker: min 8 min).
- No rebuttals in prelims.
- Scores from both rounds determine qualification for quarter-finals.
- Quarter & Semi-Finals (26th April):
- Knockout rounds with 30 minutes per team (1st speaker: max 17 min, 2nd speaker: min 13 min).
- Rebuttals allowed (3 min rebuttal, 2 min sur-rebuttal).
- Final Round (27th April):
- 40 minutes per team, time division at team’s discretion.
- Rebuttals included.
General Rules
- English is the mandatory language.
- No researcher test.
- Strict adherence to anonymity rules.
- Dress Code:
- Men: Black & white western formals with a black tie.
- Women: Black & white western formals (with black tie) or Indian formals.

- Winner: ₹11,000 + Certificate
- Runner-up: ₹7,000 + Certificate
- Best Speaker: ₹3,500 + Certificate
- Best Memorial: ₹3,500 + Certificate
