About the Organiser
Maharashtra Mandal’s Mitramandal (MMM) was established in 1967 under the patronage of Late Shri Shankarrao Chavan, Former Home Minister of India. The institute is committed to providing value-based legal education, offering 5-year and 3-year LL.B. programs, along with a B.B.A. LL.B. course introduced in 2021.
In 2021, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) recognized the institute as a Ph.D. Research Center. The college has consistently excelled in academics and co-curricular activities, securing NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation in 2018.
About the Competition
The Shankarrao Chavan Memorial Elocution Competition has been held annually for the past 15 years, aimed at enhancing the public speaking and advocacy skills of law students. Law students from Maharashtra and Goa are invited to participate.

- Any student pursuing a law degree (3-year or 5-year program).
