Dugong International Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing startup in the desktop computer manufacturing and IT hardware sector, based in Gurgaon. The company is looking for a Legal Associate to join its corporate legal team and work on litigation, contracts, and compliance.
Eligibility
- Registered lawyers with relevant legal experience OR fresh law graduates with prior internship experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a 3-year or 5-year full-time program.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- 0-1 year of experience in litigation, drafting, and contract review.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
Responsibilities
- Drafting legal pleadings and appearing before various Courts and Tribunals.
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting agreements.
- Advising clients on a variety of legal issues.
- Practicing in Civil and Commercial Laws.
- Ensuring compliance with complex commercial lending documents and other legal paperwork.
- Conducting legal research, representing clients, attending court proceedings, and providing legal advice.
