The Jindal Society of International Law (JSIL) is a student-led initiative at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), guided by esteemed advisors, aiming to foster meaningful discourse in international law.

About the International Legal Consortium (ILCB)

The International Legal Consortium Blog (ILCB) is the flagship writing platform of JSIL, dedicated to advancing discussions on various aspects of international law. The blog serves as a dynamic space for students, researchers, and legal professionals to explore the evolving complexities of international legal frameworks.

ILCB aims to:
✔ Encourage pioneering discussions in international law.
✔ Provide a platform for diverse perspectives.
✔ Promote in-depth research into emerging global legal issues.

Eligibility

Students, faculty members, and academicians from law schools across India.
Legal practitioners, researchers, and international law enthusiasts interested in contemporary socio-legal issues.

Themes

Authors are encouraged to write on any topic related to international law, including (but not limited to):

  1. International Humanitarian Crises
  2. International Taxation
  3. International Arbitration and Investment Laws
  4. Critical Approaches to International Law
  5. Ecocide and Its Implication on International Law
  6. International Treaties on Intellectual Property Law
  7. Other emerging and contemporary issues in international law.

Submission Guidelines

Word Count: 1000-1500 words (inclusive of headings and subheadings).
-Document Format: .doc or .docx (Word file), A4 sheet, normal margins, no borders.

Text Formatting:

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Size: 12 for text, 14 for headings
    References: All citations must be hyperlinked.
    Originality: Submissions must be original and non-plagiarized. Any piece with more than 30% plagiarism will be automatically rejected.

Editorial Review Process

  • Each submission undergoes a detailed peer review.
  • Authors will receive feedback within 4-8 weeks of submission (delays may occur due to high submission volumes).
  • Final decision of the editorial board is binding.
  • Once published, the piece cannot be republished elsewhere. All copyrights will be vested with JGU.

Submission Deadline: February 15, 2025
Publication of First Volume: April 2025
