INTA is pleased to launch the 2025 Asia-Pacific Moot Court Competition for the first  time in India to be held in-person at The India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on February 8-9, 2025.
The Asia-Pacific Moot Court Competition is intended to be an annual event in Asia Pacific that rotates between participating countries. Since its launch, the Asia Pacific Moot Court Competition has been hosted in Singapore. For the first time in 2025, the Competition will be hosted in New Delhi, India.
The objective of the Competition is to introduce law students in the Asia Pacific region to important international trademark and unfair competition law issues in order to foster a healthy spirit of competition and camaraderie among participating teams. Participating law students will develop their brief writing and oral advocacy skills by applying international legal principles to a fictional fact pattern, and then advocating their legal positions in a mock courtroom experience.
Students are expected to:
- Submit a written brief by email with written arguments related to the 2025 Moot Court Problem
- Argue the case in-person before a panel of volunteer attorneys and judges.
Each team desiring to participate must complete the online entry form and submit the brief no later than 5:00 pm U.S. Eastern Time, November 15, 2024. Early entry is suggested and there is no registration fee to enter. After successfully registering online, please submit your briefs by email. Please ensure you mention your assigned team number in the subject line while sending the brief. Refer to the Moot Court official rules for detailed brief submission guidelines.
