4TH IDIA UP- CHAPTER NATIONAL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION: SUBMIT BY 20 FEB, 2023

About IDIA

Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education, commonly abbreviated as IDIA, is a non-profit organisation working in India founded by Late Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer.

The project is run by student volunteers from various law schools to identify marginalised students with an aptitude for the study of law. It then trains these selected students through a rigorous program for the leading law entrance examination. Once selected to the top law schools, IDIA arranges for sponsorships/scholarships and mentorship schemes to help candidates blossom to their full potential and take their rightful places as leading lawyers and community advocates. IDIA comprises around 20 state chapters, the UP Chapter being one of them. The student volunteers, led by team leaders work tirelessly to realise the aims of IDIA in and around the UP region.
