About Moot Court Committee (MCC)

The Moot Court Committee (MCC) at TNNLU plays a pivotal role in enhancing the mooting culture of the university. With 22 dedicated members, the MCC organizes workshops, competitions, training sessions, and networking opportunities to elevate mooting standards. TNNLU hosts the Antitrust National Moot Court Competition and the Insolvency National Moot Court Competition annually.

About the Competition

The 7th TNNLU–Antitrust National Moot Court Competition, 2025 is set to take place on April 12-13, 2025 at the TNNLU Campus.

Theme: Impact of data-related policies in the Social Media space vis-à-vis competition in the domestic market.

Eligibility

Open to students enrolled in 3-year LL.B. and 5-year integrated LL.B. undergraduate programs.
Only one team per Institution/University can participate.

Registration Fees

INR 5,000/- per team (inclusive of accommodation).
The fee is non-refundable in case of withdrawal.

April 4, 2025 – Last Date for Memorial Submission (Soft Copy)
April 11, 2025 – Inaugural Ceremony, Orientation & Researcher’s Test
April 12, 2025 – Preliminary & Quarter-Final Rounds
April 13, 2025 – Semi-Finals, Finale & Valedictory Ceremony

Registration Procedure

Institutions interested in participation must provisionally register by emailing nmcc@tnnlu.ac.in on or before February 24, 2025 (11:59 PM IST) to reserve a slot.
Final registration must be completed by March 8, 2025 (11:59 PM IST).
