About
SimuLegum is launching a 6-week Certificate Course on Gaming & Esports Law, designed to combine theoretical foundations with practical, real-world applications. The course draws on expertise across gaming law, sports law, media, and technology, and is mentored by leading academics and practitioners.
Mentors
- Dr. Subhrajit Chanda – Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School and Assistant Director at the Centre for Sports Law, Business and Governance, O.P. Jindal Global University. He is India’s first PhD holder in Comprehensive Sports Law (2025). His research spans esports, sports betting, anti-doping, broadcasting rights, sports arbitration, and regulatory reform. He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Global Sports Policy Review and Managing Editor of the Journal of Sports Law, Policy and Governance. With 45+ publications, including the FICCI-launched book Sports Law and Policy in the Present Global Scenario, he actively contributes to global sports governance. He has also taught at IIM Rohtak and TransStadia University and was part of the FICCI UK Sports Delegation 2025.
- Prof. (Dr.) Deevanshu Shrivastava – A legal academic with over 12 years of teaching and research experience, with expertise in curriculum design, institution building, and leading flagship initiatives such as moot courts, symposiums, and legal aid programs. Recognized for research at both national and international levels, he brings dual experience in academia and corporate consultancy and is also a certified PoSH Trainer, Mediator, and Arbitrator.
Eligibility
The course is open to law students, young professionals, academicians, and practitioners interested in gaming, esports, and sports law. No prior specialization in the subject is required.
