About the Organisers
The Faculty of Law, Oriental University, Indore, has been at the forefront of promoting legal education through innovative academic initiatives, competitions, and training programs. The 3rd Dr. K. L. Thakral Memorial Moot Court Competition is one of our flagship events that aims to provide law students with a platform to hone their advocacy, research, and drafting skills.

Details of the Event
The 3rd Dr. K. L. Thakral Memorial Moot Court Competition 2025 will bring together budding lawyers from across the country to engage in intense rounds of arguments, focusing on contemporary issues.

Eligibility
The competition is open to all students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. programs from recognized institutions/universities in India.

Location
The competition will be conducted in a hybrid format:

• Researcher Test (Online): 14th October 2025
• Preliminary Rounds (Online): 15th October 2025
• Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final Rounds (On-Campus): 30th–31st October 2025 at Oriental University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

3. Allotment of Team Codes: 6th October 2025
4. Last Date for Seeking Clarifications: 7th October 2025
5. Last Date for Submission of Memorials (Soft Copy): 10th October 2025
6. Researcher’s Test (Online): 14th October 2025
7. Preliminary Rounds (Online): 15th October 2025
8. Declaration of Results: 16th October 2025
9. Last Date of Payment (Qualified Teams): 18th October 2025
10. Release of 1st Waiting List: 19th October 2025
11. Payment Deadline for 1st Waiting List Teams: 20th October 2025
12. Release of 2nd Waiting List: 21st October 2025
13. Payment Deadline for 2nd Waiting List Teams: 22nd October 2025
14. Last Date for Receipt of Hard Copy of Memorials: 25th October 2025
15. Inaugural, Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals (On-Campus): 30th October 2025
16. Final Round & Valedictory Ceremony (On-Campus): 31st October 2025

Fee Details

• ₹3,000 per team without accommodation
• ₹4,500 per team with accommodation
