About Kshetra Foundation for Dialogue
Kshetra Foundation for Dialogue is a transformative initiative designed to foster societal dialogue aimed at conflict transformation, collaborative problem solving, and cultural change. The Foundation promotes the use of the Dialogic Method, an open-source framework that supports the creation of spaces for sustainable solutions and community mobilization.
About the Course
The Conflict Transformation through the Dialogic Method course explores how conflicts, which are intrinsic to personal, professional, and societal interactions, can be transformed into opportunities for growth, innovation, and value creation. The Dialogic Method offers a framework for turning conflict into a positive force, enhancing relationships and fostering collaborative solutions.

- Fundamentals of the Dialogic Method:
- Overview of dialogic disciplines
- Distinguishing the Dialogic Method from other dialogue-based disciplines
- Activity: Principles of the Dialogic Method
- Multiple outcomes of dialogue
- Stage 1: Define
- Differentiating surface statements from underlying reasons
- Identifying stakeholders
- Building strategic trust and finding alignment of interest
- Dialogue Tree Tool introduction
- Stage 2a: Understand – Emotion
- Introduction to emotions, perspectives, and information
- Practicing empathy in dialogue
- Stage 2b: Understand – Perspective and Information
- Gaining and uncovering perspectives
- Listening and its types
- Practicing active listening
- Stage 3: Solve
- Generating and evaluating options
- Roleplay: Practicing all stages of the Dialogic Method
Duration
- 2 Days
- 3 sessions each day
- Each session: 2 hours, from 10 am to 5 pm

Certificate of Participation
- Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from NALSAR University and Kshetra Foundation for Dialogue, provided they attend 80% or more sessions.
