The Centre for Excellence in IPR at ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad, is dedicated to promoting research and awareness in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The Centre facilitates IP education and training for students, academicians, and professionals across India. It aims to advance interdisciplinary research linking law, science, technology, arts, and economics in the realm of intellectual property.


About the Conference

The International Conference on Intellectual Property and Society: Bridging Innovation and Public Interest seeks to examine the balance between innovation incentives and public welfare. Key discussions will focus on access to medicines, equitable technology dissemination, copyright challenges in the digital era, and other contemporary issues. The conference aims to bring together diverse perspectives and foster dialogue on aligning IP frameworks with public interest to ensure sustainable and inclusive development.

Submissions may focus on any of the above themes or other relevant topics.


Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 spacing
  • Footnotes: Bluebook 20th Edition, Size 10, single-spaced
  • Margins: 1-inch on all sides

Word Limit

  • Abstract: 300-500 words (with keywords, including author’s name, designation, and contact details)
  • Full Paper: 3000-5000 words (excluding footnotes)

Plagiarism should be below 10% (a mandatory plagiarism report is required).


Registration Fees

  • Academicians/Professionals: ₹1500
  • Students/Research Scholars: ₹1000
  • IFHE Students: ₹500
  • IFHE Faculty: No Fee

The fee includes a seminar kit, lunch, and high tea during the conference.


Important Dates

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 2nd March 2025
  • Acceptance Notification: 5th March 2025
  • Payment of Registration Fee: 9th March 2025
  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: 31st March 2025
  • Conference & Paper Presentation: 24th – 25th April 2025

Early submissions are encouraged for timely review and acceptance.

Send your Abstract and Full Paper in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format to centexcellipr@ifheindia.org with the subject:

“Submission for IPR Conference 2025 – [Your Name]”

The email must include:

  • Author’s Name, Institution, Designation, and Contact Information
  • Co-Author’s Details (if applicable)
  • Plagiarism Report (below 10%)
