Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), New Law College, Pune’s Moot Court Society is delighted to announce the forthcoming 14th edition of the Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights, scheduled from 26.03.2026 – 28.03.2026.

About the Competition:

The Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights pays tribute to the vision of (Late) Justice P.N. Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India. Since its inception in 2011, the competition has gained global recognition, providing students with opportunities to delve into the complexities of International Human Rights Law and enhance their advocacy skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Competition has a cap of 32 Teams and is open for students enrolled bona-fide on a regular basis in an Undergraduate Law Course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized College/ Institution/ University.

How to Register:

Registration Fees:
A uniform Registration Fee is applicable to both National and International teams. The Registration Fee is INR 7,500/- per team with accommodation and INR 3,500/- per team without accommodation. The aforesaid Registration Fee, whether inclusive or exclusive of accommodation charges, is exclusive of any convenience, service, or payment gateway charges.

Venue:
14th Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights, 2026 shall be held in an offline mode at premises of the prestigious Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Campus, Erandwane, Pune, Maharashtra – 411038 (INDIA) from March 26 to 28, 2026.

Accommodation:
Accommodation shall be provided by the Organising Committee in accordance with prescribed protocols. Availing such accommodation shall be optional, subject to prior formal intimation by teams opting out. Teams not availing accommodation shall independently arrange their stay and transportation and shall bear sole responsibility for the same. Accommodation, where availed, shall be available from 10:00 AM IST on 25.03.2026 to 12:00 PM IST on 29.03.2026.

Best Speaker: Rs. 10,000 and Trophy.
•
Best Memorial: Rs. 15,000 and Trophy.

Best Researcher: Rs. 10,000 and Trophy.

12th February 2026: Allotment of Team Code
•
15th February 2026: Last date for seeking Clarification
•
20th February 2026: Release of Clarification
•
5th March 2026: Last date for submitting Memorials (Soft Copies)
•
26th-28th March 2026: Inauguration Ceremony, Oral Rounds of the Competition, and Valedictory Ceremony
