Overview

The Topic of the webinar will be related to the Adverse effects on Education system by COVID-19 pandemic taking place during the Lockdown period. The COVID-19 has affected education system worldwide , leading to the near-total closure of schools , universities and colleges.

Most of the Government around the world have temporarily closed educational institution in an attempt to control the spread of the COVID-19. Approximately 1.725 billion learners have affected due to the educational institution closure in response to the pandemic.

In the Webinar, several points regarding this issue will be discussed and people will be made aware of the effects and plausible solutions to combat this issue.

Our Speakers

Prof. Mohd. Salim

Director (Lloyd Law College)

Dr. Md. Salim completed his LL.B from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and his LL.M. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He got his Ph.D. awarded from Jamia Millia Islamia on the topic ‘Sanctions and the issue of induced compliance in WTO Dispute Settlement System’.

He is the founder faculty of Symbiosis Law School, Noida (constituent of Symbiosis International University). Being associated with teaching and learning, he has chaired panels at conferences, presented research papers at some well-known International and National conferences, judged competitions and guided dissertations. His expanse in academics ranges from teaching Law of Contract, Jurisprudence, Legal Reasoning, Public International Law, International Trade Law, Insurance Laws and UNCITRAL Model Laws, etc. As a teacher, he has always been associated with students and has inspired them to excel in co-curricular activities. He is currently working as a Director of Lloyd Law College.

Renu Sehgal

Principal (G.D.Goenka School)

Dr Renu Sehgal has been an eminent educationist since last 40 years. She has been contributing her services to the society as Principal in some of the leading schools of the country for the past 27 years. Currently, she is heading GD.Goenka Public School , Greater Noida. She has received President Award twice in career from President of India for her significant contribution in the field of education.

Dimple Puri

Principal (DLF World School)

Ms Dimple Puri is a Principal of Darbari Lal Foundation World School , Greater Noida. A progressive leader, she has had a varied educational experience of more than 20 years. She is Botany postgraduate and B.Ed. From University of Guru Nanak Dev, Amritsar, Punjab. She began her career as a science professor. She had the privilege to work as Headmistress at Ahlcon International School, Delhi before DLF World School and has led a team of experience in the varied area of comprehensive curriculum design, pedagogy and creativity, value-based teaching, resource management, teacher capacity development, research-based classroom practice, and so on.

Vijay Kumar Singh

Dean ( UPES University)

An experienced faculty of law with a demonstrated history of working with academia (HNLU& UPES), national regulator (CCI) and a Government think tank (IICA) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Skilled in Corporate and Securities Law, Competition law and policy , Insolvency , ADR , International Trade , Public Speaking and Administration , Dr Vijay Kumar Singh is a strong professional with Ph.D. in Law and higher degrees in Law and Management.

Ms. Sana Andaleeb

She is pursuing B.A Honours in English from University of Delhi . She is a Public Speaker and content writer. She is also the General Secretary in debating society , Administrative head in ELS, at University of Delhi.
